I embarked upon my personal health and wellness journey five years ago. Picture it: an ambitious woman working at a fast-paced tech company, pulling 80-hour work weeks to climb that corporate ladder. I was making a six-figure salary, running a small team, and winning industry awards. On paper, my career looked impressive. Behind-the-scenes, however, was another story.

I was stressed out and burnt out. I barely had time to see my husband, let alone my family and friends. I was working such long shifts that I didn’t prioritize my health. Besides, who feels like hitting the gym after a 12-hour day? What I soon realized, however, is that, if you don’t listen to your body, your body forces you to listen. My immune system began to suffer. I was frequently sick. My stress levels skyrocketed. I had migraines. I started feeling anxious, depressed, and my work performance suffered.

Fast-forward to today. I’ve left the corporate world to start my own business, on my own schedule. I’ve implemented a daily self-care routine that balances my work life with taking care of my mental, emotional, and physical health. I spend time with friends. I go on weekly dates with my husband. I take yoga classes, practice meditation, and hit the gym. I’m looking, feeling, and working better than I have in years. I’ve seen so much personal success with my health and wellness routine that I wanted to share it with others. By creating this website, I hope that sharing my story will help y… Read More

From my earliest days, I have adored stories. As I’ve sought to serve others throughout my life, I’ve witnessed firsthand how fictional and real-life stories shape our society, reframe one’s circumstances, and call an individual’s heart to heroism in a world desperate for heroes.

We all have a story to tell. My desire is to use my strengths in writing and editing to ensure that everyone’s “next chapter” is better than the one before.

When I’m not writing a new story, cooking a homemade recipe, spending time with others, or going on an adventure, I'm curled up with a hot cup of tea and a good book.

I’ve spent my life in healthcare, including 25 years as a holistic chiropractor and 10 years before that as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
I made the choice to move into Alternative Health after witnessing the way in which Western Medicine has lost touch with the reality of "First, do no harm" and the realization that I was powerless to change that paradigm from within.
I then ran a holistic chiropractic practice on the Central Coast of California for about 25 years.
Recently, I’ve combined the “science geek” side of me and the alternative care practitioner to help people, mostly women through health coaching and consulting. I work with women who want to lose weight, address hormone issues, and resolve or reverse chronic health issues, not just treat them, using food and lifestyle as medicine.
The things that make me successful with this new endeavor are being what I call an ‘idealistic skeptic,’ having a science mind but a caring heart and a passion for helping people with simple effective tools. This gives me the willingness to dive deep and uncover what works and help my client tailor it to her needs and individual tastes and goals. (I like to tell people there are no 'have to eat' foods or 'have to do' exercises.)
My coaching helps women dig deep to uncover the authentic motivational factors that are under the surface. The ones that will keep her motivated to make long-term health changes; not just look good at the ev… Read More

After years in the corporate world on burn out, surviving to pay the bills and occasionally having some 'me' time, life struck. If I wasn't going to change, I was going to be forced to change.

Early in my 20s I was sent home from the doctor's with antidepressants and told I would end up in a wheelchair. I had to find a different way. This was through Alternative Health Tools, nutrition and alternative medicine which then led me onto qualifying to help people live their healthiest lives through sharing natural health tools to bring the body back into balance.

If that wasn't enough, life struck again: relationship breakdown, threat of redundancy, stress of professional exams, tests for a heart murmur and then as if all that wasn't enough, my break line went on my vehicle driving on the motorway at high speed. I survived. What this period in my life taught me, was to 'wake up' to re-direct me down a different path. I listened and learned that I needed to slow down, find different ways to stop existing and start living. I learned coaching and then qualified as a coach to bring my mind and being back into balance.

I discovered for the first time that I had a heart voice, and this was different from my overshadowed thinking, my head voice. It knew the answers and it wanted to sing. I discovered more tools on how to connect with my heart voice, to bring me back into flow, harmonise my mental, emotional and physica… Read More
