After years in the corporate world on burn out, surviving to pay the bills and occasionally having some 'me' time, life struck. If I wasn't going to change, I was going to be forced to change.

Early in my 20s I was sent home from the doctor's with antidepressants and told I would end up in a wheelchair. I had to find a different way. This was through Alternative Health Tools, nutrition and alternative medicine which then led me onto qualifying to help people live their healthiest lives through sharing natural health tools to bring the body back into balance.

If that wasn't enough, life struck again: relationship breakdown, threat of redundancy, stress of professional exams, tests for a heart murmur and then as if all that wasn't enough, my break line went on my vehicle driving on the motorway at high speed. I survived. What this period in my life taught me, was to 'wake up' to re-direct me down a different path. I listened and learned that I needed to slow down, find different ways to stop existing and start living. I learned coaching and then qualified as a coach to bring my mind and being back into balance.

I discovered for the first time that I had a heart voice, and this was different from my overshadowed thinking, my head voice. It knew the answers and it wanted to sing. I discovered more tools on how to connect with my heart voice, to bring me back into flow, harmonise my mental, emotional and physical wellbeing and to stop valuing the chatter in my head that created stress and overwhelm, anxiety and feeling stuck.

My purpose and job is to now show others how to be the happiest, healthiest, most fulfilled version of themselves. To shine their light bright, through natural tools and coaching techniques. I do this through writing, speaking and coaching.

Don't trust everything your head voice says. Tune into the whispers of your heart voice and take a step to create the change you deserve. You were not born to DO, you were born to BE.

Health Coach & Consultant, retired Chiropractor

I’ve spent my life in healthcare, including 25 years as a holistic chiropractor and 10 years before that as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
I made the choice to move into Alternative Health after witnessing the way in which Western Medicine has lost touch with the reality of "First, do no harm" and the realization that I was powerless to change that paradigm from within.
I then ran a holistic chiropractic practice on the Central Coast of California for about 25 years.
Recently, I’ve combined the “science geek” side of me and the alternative care practitioner to help people, mostly women through health coaching and consulting. I work with women who want to lose weight, address hormone issues, and resolve or reverse chronic health issues, not just treat them, using food and lifestyle as medicine.
The things that make me successful with this new endeavor are being what I call an ‘idealistic skeptic,’ having a science mind but a caring heart and a passion for helping people with simple effective tools. This gives me the willingness to dive deep and uncover what works and help my client tailor it to her needs and individual tastes and goals. (I like to tell people there are no 'have to eat' foods or 'have to do' exercises.)
My coaching helps women dig deep to uncover the authentic motivational factors that are under the surface. The ones that will keep her motivated to make long-term health changes; not just look good at the event next month or next year.
I love working with people that want to live with energy and vitality; doing the things they love until the day they die.
